Survey Content
Thank you for your interest in the DSIT Public Engagement Survey. We are grateful for your participation, which will help us understand public engagement with the internet, digital technology and government online services, as well as views on science and artificial intelligence (AI).
You will be asked questions about:
- Your demographic information
- Internet use and digital skills
- Broadband and mobile data usage
- Use of government digital services
- Attitudes towards science, technology and data
- Adoption and attitudes relating to Artificial intelligence (AI)
Questions on these topics will gather information on how often you use the internet, the kinds of things you are comfortable using the internet for and your use of government digital services. They will also help DSIT understand the public's connection with science, trust in information on science and technology, and engagement with AI technology.
The demographics section will cover questions about you, such as your age, ethnicity, education, and employment history, as well as other related topics such as science-related work or study. These questions aim to ensure that everyone's views are captured.
Taking part is voluntary. You are not required to answer any questions you do not want to answer.
